Can you believe it? It’s 2017! And we’re still recording the demo! What the heck is taking so long?
We’ll tell you what
We’ve been working hard on getting the demo for the show sounding as awesome as possible. Since beginning in the middle of last year, we’ve had the pleasure of working with some incredible talent. Check out some videos on our Instagram to see Jimmy recording with Charity Farrell, Jared & Zach Green (yes, we have actual twins playing our twin busboys), Christian Magby, and Manasa Vedula. Lined up are B. Todd Johnston and Jon Kovach to complete the aural cast (along with the lovely pipes of Brooke Mullen for some chorus parts), and then we’ll be finished!
As planned, once we’ve gotten all the tracks together, we’re going to submit the music (along with the script) to festivals, theaters, etc. Our hope is that these recordings will help the text come alive and someone will be interested in staging the show for real.
